About The Raahat Foundation's Work
Our Humanitarian Work
Raahat Foundation was established on June 7, 2017, with the aim of providing and extending meaningful help to society. At Raahat we believe in social change by empowering the most vulnerable members of the underprivileged communities – the women, youth and children Raahat Foundation has started undertaking various activities to ensure a better future for underprivileged women and children by imparting various skills like tailoring, making cloth bags, clothes embroidery and learning yoga.
We are also taking art, literature and theatre to the slum children, with the intention of introducing them to fine arts. We plan to expand our activities in the years to come. Mission is to serve humanity by undertaking various human welfare activities for the benefit of society as a whole through various programmes.

PROMOTE ARTS
The goal of The Raahat Foundation is to promote arts such as music, theatricals and dancing amongst the underprivileged children of society. We aim to use the artistic forum to discover these talents, nurture them and promote them as part of our community development responsibility. Our goal is reach out to as many children, youth men and women in Pune and outside who we can empower and enable to become self reliant.
MEDICAL AID
The Raahat Foundation sponsors food and medical needs of poor senior citizens in old age homes, in and around Pune.
SPREAD LITERACY
The Raahat Foundation supports Literacy Programmes for girls, boys and children in Pune and surrounding areas. The Raahat Foundation aims to lift young people out of poverty through the power of Literacy, therefore enabling them to adequately contribute towards their own progress and that of humankind.
PROMOTE SPORTS
The Raahat Foundation works to promote sporting talent amongst the underprivileged children by giving them the right support at the right time. We want to give them a fair chance to blossom and build athletes who will contribute to Indian Sports successfully.
