This contemporary dance performance is inspired by the never-ending construction work in the city.
The theme of the dance performance was chosen in keeping with the ethos of contemporary dance, informs Maitreyee. “A contemporary dance performance needs to be relevant to the times. We came up with this subject when the dancers brainstormed. It is a culmination of five different points of views on ‘construction’. This constant chaos that is associated with development forms the Sorry For The Inconvenience, a conhtemporary dance performance by Maitreyee Joshi, Sayli Kulkarni Joshi, Janhavii Pathak, Bhumika Chitlange and Pooja Kadam. The show is a part of the World Dance Day celebrations hosted this weekend by International Association for Performing Arts and research. (IAPAR) in the city.
