Most of us are not happy the way we and our loved ones are consuming or rather getting consumed by the online activities. But screens are so addictive and provide an insane amount of variety which makes it impossible to be offline.
In context of this reality Child’s POV has designed this workshop based on the scientific research of more than 70 years in the field of neuroscience and psychology, explaining the underlying causes of any addictive behaviour. This workshop aims at empowering the participants by providing them scientific knowledge and tools for negotiating their relationship with the online world. For this purpose the workshop can be benefited if the adolescents and their caregivers attend this workshop together.
The workshop will be facilitated by Gautam Behl who is a psychologist and a registered rehabilitation counselor. He has done his specialization in concerns related to children and adolescents from National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development under the ministry of child and women welfare (NIPCCD).
