Enjoy an evening of mesmerizing Kathak Dance choreographies by Asmita Thakur’s Kalanubhuti Centre of Kathak.
Mrs Asmita Thakur is a senior disciple of internationally reputed Kathak denseuse guru Mrs Shambhavi Dandekar. She has completed her master’s in Kathak from Lalit Kala Kendra,Pune University as well as Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth and has been first ranker in both Universities. She also holds the ‘Nritya Alankar’ degree from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. Alongwith these achievement she has been awarded with other awards like Pt.Gopi Krishna Yuva Puraskar, Pt Rohini Bhate gold medal, Nritya Shiromani etc.
She has performed in various cities in India and abroad mainly Kenya, Canada, Dubai and USA.
Asmita Thakur’s Kalanubhuti Centre has collaborated with Raah and will be conducting regular classes in Kathak every Sunday morning from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm from August.
