The idea of “Loin Des Armes” (Away from Guns) came in 2015, after meeting Junior, a demobilized child soldier from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Made up of testimonies from demobilized former child soldiers from several continents, this film also represents local youth who have committed themselves to the cause, as well as experts on the subject.
