This month, Books, Chai & More, the Raah Book
Club, will be discussing the book The Sanatorium by
Sarah Pearse.
The Sanatorium is a chilling thriller set in Le
Sommet, a luxurious hotel built from a former
abandoned sanatorium deep in the Swiss Alps.
Detective Elin Warner joins her estranged brother
Isaac and his fiancée Laure for an engagement
celebration, but the trip takes a dark turn when
Laure mysteriously disappears during a severe
snowstorm. Trapped in the isolated hotel with no way
out, Elin investigates while tensions among the
guests rise. As more secrets emerge and another
disappearance comes to light, Elin uncovers a
terrifying danger lurking within the hotel’s walls,
forcing her to race against time to prevent further
tragedy.
