This month, Books, Chai & More, the Raah Book Club, will be discussing the book Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro (Nobel 2017). Prior to the book discussion, a film based on the book will be screened.

Hailsham seems like a pleasant English boarding school, far from the city; its students are well tended and supported, but, curiously, they are taught nothing of the outside world and are allowed no contact with it. It’s only when the three friends – Kathy, Ruth and Tommy leave the school (as they always knew they would) that they realize the full truth about Hailsham.
