Prasad Gondkar has 18 years experience of Sitar playing, with many stage performances across India, US, UK and Middle East.
He has also performed on Zee Sa Re Ga Ma, Alfa-TV Marathi and E-TV Marathi and Telugu TV Channels. Played Sitar for Album ‘SUMIRAN’ songs sung by Lata Mangeshkar under music direction of Pdt. Hridayanath Mangeshkar.

He is from the ‘Etawah Gharana’. His music style, too, maintains a blend of both the main style of sitar playing, the Gayaki (Vocal) and the Tantrakari (Instrumental).
