Our Book Club will meet every 1st Sunday of the month at Raah from 5:15 pm to 6:45 pm, to have lively discussions on a book or books that we have read. Apart from book readings, Books, Chai and More will also have Book Launches, host authors and have book exhibitions.

Bird-that-never-flew — Date : Saturday, 1st December Time : 5 pm to 7 pm Stories are such an integral part of our lives. If they are brought out from the heart of a child, they become all the more wonderful. Do attend the book launch of ‘The Bird That Never Flew’, a compilation of twenty short stories written by the budding 16 year old author Anirudh Naveen. It involves a book-reading session where the author will narrate a couple of his stories. This will be followed by the author launching his new writer’s club – The Pen-Champs. An interactive question/answer session will give the audience more information about the book and the club.

This is a Book Club of a group of avid readers who will meet to have lively discussions on a book or books that they have read. Unselfish-Desires-1 — Date : Friday, 7th September. Time : 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. This month the book under discussion is ‘Unselfish Desires’ , for the Book Club. Please do get like minded people along. The author Pravada Milind Telang will be present for the discussion.

Norwegain-Wood — Date : Sunday 7th October. Time : 5:15 pm to 6:45 pm. This month the book under discussion is ‘Norwegian Wood’ for the Book Club. It is a 1987 novel by Japanese author Haruki Murakami. The novel is a nostalgic story of loss and burgeoning sexuality. Please do get like minded people along.

Factotum is a masterfully vivid evocation of slow paced low life urbanity and alcoholism. Its an introduction to an excellent fictional world of Charles Bukowski.
